June 21, 2010 (Wynstone CC, Barrington, IL) – Running strong for over 14 years, the Saint Viator Million Dollar Classic was held on June 21st at Wynstone Country Club. Held as a way to raise funds for the Saint Viator Athletic Program, the Million Dollar Classic is an annual golf outing supported by friends and family of Saint Viator High School. The event was a major success and the predicted storms held off to allow for a beautiful day of golf. After 18 holes of golf, participants made their way back to the clubhouse for cocktails, dinner, silent auction, and live auction. David Goodman of Auction Results was on hand to auction off items that ranged from a front row parking spot for one lucky Saint Viator student to a round of golf to be played with legendary Chicago Bears Coach Mike Ditka. Like last year, one of the main draws of the event was the chance for 10 participants to win their share of $1,000,000. Ron Slucker of Impact 365 presented the $1,000,000 challenge at last year’s event where one lucky contestant walked away $100,000 richer. When it was all said and done, over $150,000 was raised to benefit the Saint Viator Athletic Program and Impact 365 proved once again that they are on top of leaderboard when it comes to successful events. |
